I actually had a part-written processing blog somewhere from when I first played with it. Can't seem to find it, but I'll rehash it, and make a post on it soon. What I've done so far isn't really earth-shattering, and is mostly just extensions on the demos that come with it. I really need to pick up a book on it, and digest it for a while before I'd call myself competent with it.

Apparently you can rig up something with it so it outputs MIDI too, which intrigues me. Definitely warrants further investigation.

Please blog on some of the stuff you are doing with "Processing" and how you are coding it. I've been reading "Visualizing Data" by Ben Fry http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596514556/ and would be curious to learn from your experiences :-)

Having done a stint of UI coding for my last job I'm moving back to
kernel/plumbing type stuff. The main problem I have with UI stuff is
everyone has an opinion on what makes a good UI and I'm happy to use
the command line for stuff. At least kernel work is a lot more easily
bounded when defining if it works or not.

The processing stuff looks cool to play with though.
